Examples of Personal Information collected: name, email, phone number, location and any additional information provided to us via the open field entry of the contact form.
Purpose of collection: to respond to customer queries and provide customer support. This website is using Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with Pat McDonnell Paints customer support team. Email addresses and names collected with your consent are used in order to start a chat with a member of our team. The messages and data exchanged in this chat are stored within the Tidio application. For more information, please refer to their Privacy Policy.

Disclosure for a business purpose: shared with our customer support team. Additionally, may be shared with our colour consultants and/or Pat McDonnell Paints store managers with your consent.  

This website is using Tidio, a chat platform that connects users with Pat McDonnell Paints customer support team. We are collecting Pat McDonnell Paints is not making use of these messages or data other than to follow up on users’ registered issues or inquiries. Your personal data will be processed and transmitted in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Purpose of collection:  to send you marketing communication, to keep you updated on events, special offers, products and services provided by Pat McDonnell Paints.

2.  Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals considered minor. We do not intentionally collect Personal Information from children. If you are the parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information, please contact us at the address below to request deletion.

We DO NOT engage in fully automated decision-making that has a legal or otherwise significant effect using customer data.
Our e-commerce processor Aphix uses limited automated decision-making to prevent fraud that does not have a legal or otherwise significant effect on you.
Services that include elements of automated decision-making include:

  • Temporary deny list of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions. This deny list persists for a small number of hours.
  • Temporary deny list of credit cards associated with deny listed IP addresses. This deny list persists for a small number of days.



6.  GDPR Subject Access Request      

Under national data protection legislation, a person has a right to be given a copy of his/her personal data. A Subject Access Request must be in writing and we will respond within 30 calendar days.
